If you find the correct brand name, you must then choose a model from
the list that you think the virus is in. For Commodore, there are the
C64, the C128, the Amiga 500, the Amiga 1000, the Amiga 2000, and the
Amiga 3000. For IBM, there are the 286, 386, and 486. For the
Mac there's the ][si, ][ci, Plus, and Classic. And for Apple,
there's the ][, ][+, ][c, ][e, and ][gs. Depending on what brand
the virus is in, you get a number of chances to pick the model.
(The virus will have more trouble in categories with more models,
so you have more chances to pick.)
Due to an undocumented feature in VirusHunter, you will be rewarded
two and a half times the amount of credits you spent on CPU cycles
if you find the virus. Find that virus before he ruins your hard
drive! Good luck!
